ADMINISTRATORS TEAM

The Special Administrators appointed are the Council Members of respective Municipal Councils and are regarded as the duly constituted Council.

The Special Administrator teams, led by a Chair, are tasked with modernising practices and streamlining processes to ensure that services are provided to ratepayers and citizens in the most efficient, transparent and cost-effective way. They also have specific skills and expertise covering diverse business, legal, community and financial experience which has assisted, guide and drive the affairs of the Savusavu Town Council.
Savusavu town have been rapidly progressing over the years whereby the Special Administrators performs their governance duties and oversee the work of the Chief Executive Officer and management ensuring citizens receive a better level of service delivery. For the year 2021, the appointed Special Administrators for Labasa and Savusavu Town Council are (Chair – Mr Justin Hunter, Members: Mr Ami Kohli and Ms Doreen Miller Robinson) who has served the council from 2019 till todate.
